Charities
The Aurora Children’s Trust - shining a bright light, giving something back to our community and helping where we can.
Since founding the company in March 2005 the Aurora Hotel Collection has forged strong relationships with local charitable organisations and community initiatives where we have collectively worked with our clients, colleagues and partners and raising somewhere in excess of £500,000 to a varied selection of charities and worthwhile initiatives. The money has been raised through various events run at our hotels either by ourselves or joint partnerships, which we are proud to be associated with, we will of course continue to develop these longstanding relationships into the future.
This year it is the resolution of the Aurora Hotel Collection to go one step further and it is my intention to introduce a new initiative which will focus on giving support and assistance to those young people in Central Scotland who need it most.
The Aurora Children’s Trust endeavours to organise several events throughout the year with its partners, many of which will be held in our hotels, to raise money and awareness for young people who have or may be experiencing a difficult start to life. I believe that focusing this new charitable initiative in the form of a brand new charity venture will without doubt bring longer term benefits in many different ways to the younger people in our local community and to help them in an effective and progressive way.
As always I thank all of our clients, colleagues and friends for their outstanding support and encouragement over the years and I know that together we can all help to get this fantastic new initiative started in 2010 and watch it grow into the future to be something really inspiring making us all proud to give something back where we can.
